Celebration of Life
Words cannot describe how amazing our week has been! This house is stunning and was truly our home away from home. We came here to celebrate life and how beautiful it is, as we have recently suffered loss. We could feel their love here with us everyday! We look forward to coming here again and count the days until we return.
Loved The Pool
We stayed here for the last 5 days of our trip to the islands. We greatly enjoyed staying here. The pool was a highlight for me personally, as well as my mother. It was nice to relax in the pool after a great day at the beach!
Scavenger Hunt
Almost Heaven has been an unforgettable adventure in paradise! We successfully explored Jost visiting (almost) every stop of the creative scavenger hunt. We added a few to the list - star gazing, goat herding, and the 'Ghost boat of Jost.' Such a beautiful island - thank you for sharing your slice of Almost Heaven.
Already planning our return!
Our family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kiddos - had the most amazing time at Almost Heaven Villa. Beautiful views from every angle and an amazing host in Tina! We can't wait to come back.
Wedding Gang
Friends got married at Alice's yesterday - a fantastic, beautiful event! Best day ever. Our group traveled from Michigan and California for the big day. It's our second trip to JVD; first trip to Almost Heaven. What a beautiful place! We will be returning many times. Thank you so much.
We wanted to stay
Brooke was so kind and flexible every step of the way since our booking 10 months ago, even allowing us to stay an extra day when the Venezuelan Conflict disrupted travel plans. And, Tina was excellent answering all of our questions, running errands, and making suggestions as well. Almost Heaven Villa is magical. The views, the pool, the space... perfect for our family of 5. Jost is a very special place. We all agree - one of the best family vacations ever! We plan to come back. Seven days was not enough.
Under The Stars
No detail has gone unnoticed. It truly is your home away from home. A complimentary bottle of rum sits on the counter for your first taste of the Caribbean. The villa has 3 bedrooms which are cleverly separated, so you can enjoy your privacy yet come together for fellowship in a centralized area. Without a doubt, the highlight of the house is the patio and pool sitting above the harbor. We spent many nights staring up at the clear sky watching a night show of shooting stars.
Celebration Vacation
I can't say enough about this house, this island, and all the people we met. We had the time of our lives visiting Jost this last week... I've never been more sad to go home! The house has take your breath away views of Great Harbour and is perfectly set up so everyone has their own space. It really was the most wonderful week. Almost Heaven doesn't disappoint so if you're on the fence... just book it!
Amazing Villa
Almost Heaven Villa truly lives up to its name. Jost Van Dyke is our favorite island escape, and this villa is the perfect home base—close to everything, yet wonderfully private. Mornings are my favorite: quiet coffee by the pool, watching the sun rise over the harbour as the island slowly wakes up. It’s peaceful in a way that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it. We love how easy it is to wander down to the beach for lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the sun, the water, and the fun island vibe. There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from, yet coming back to the villa always feels like coming home. The comfort, layout, and amenities are absolutely perfect, and the nights are unbelievably restful. Almost Heaven Villa and Jost Van Dyke are everything you want when you need a true escape.
Group Trip In Paradise
My husband and I, along with 2 other couples just returned from a fantastic week on Jost Van Dyke. We stayed at Almost Heaven. This villa is like no other!! The views are unbelievable!! The hardworking staff made our stay feel like a home away from home. This was truly a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend this villa for your stay on an island with the most gracious and welcoming people!
